Glass Collection

Royal Copenhagen introduces the first collection in glass in Royal Copenhagen’s history. The glass collection have an obvious reference to Royal Copenhagen’s heritage but in a new and updated version giving flower bouquets and simple branches a delighted appearance.

The glass items are decorated with a sandblasted relief of the famous Blue Fluted pattern and can be found in different colors. The design and decoration is classic and shows our attention of the functionality of the items - e.g. the vases. The glass vases are smaller in size than the traditional porcelain vases from Royal Copenhagen giving the glass vases a minimalistic touch and feel which fit e.g. a feminine stylish rococo bouquet. The relief on the white vase has a beautiful shade because of the reflection in the glass from the white colored background.

Royal Copenhagen is known to be of handcrafted and hand painted porcelain pieces of extremely high quality and the production of this glass collection complys with these standards. The glass vases are hand blown, the rim is hand rubbed and the decoration is applied by hand and sandblasted afterwards.
