Pearl
If you are fond of royal porcelain and the characteristic fluted appearance, which for more than 200 years has been synonymous with Royal Copenhagen, then you should take a closer look at the new vase, Pearl.
The name Pearl refers both to the porcelain pearls which used to be produced by Royal Copenhagen, and to the elegant organic appearance of the vase which is reminiscent of the natural flawlessness and perfect form of the natural pearl. The simple and organic proportions give the vases a pearly and aesthetic appearance which goes well with seasonal bouquets, but which also can stand alone.
With its inviting appearance, Pearl tells its very own story of fantastic dinnerware and of the chapter in design and culture history which Royal Copenhagen has created throughout generations. Of a fantastic past and a breath-taking future. With its modern design and its simple organic appearance, the vase in itself is a perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism, pointing the way to the future. But at the same time, the sculptural, vertical flutes point back to Royal Copenhagen’s exclusive, handmade porcelain, which has had fluting as its unique characteristic since 1775, and which can be seen on the classic blue fluted dinnerware.
Pearl is available in several sizes and is produced in clear, hand-blown glass with hand-polished edges and in hand-glazed porcelain with white glazing, respectively.
