The serving board is hand painted with a playful, floral pattern of twirling elements adorning the porcelain surface, which is touched by a surprising combination of tactile flutes and an elegant, rimmed edge. The Blue Elements collection blooms in elegant joyfulness with an inspiring combination of classic Royal Copenhagen design elements and classic, hand painted decorations that grow freely across porcelain surfaces. Like White Elements and Multicoloured Elements, the collection shines on its own or in a combination with classic collections from Royal Copenhagen in a playful style of contemporary beauty.

The Three Waves
Proposed as The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory trademark in 1775 by Queen dowager Juliane Marie, every piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain is instantly recognised by the three blue waves on its underside symbolising the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt - the three main waterways of Denmark.

The Signature
The delicate decoration of the hand painted porcelain is comparable to the painter own signature and like any other piece of art, Royal Copenhagen skilled blue painters leave their signatureon the underside of every piece of porcelain.
