Royal Copenhagen offer
BLUE FLUTED HALF LACE
In the late 1800s, a lighter and more current version of Blue Fluted Full Lace came to life. Instead of the pierced lace border, Blue Fluted Half Lace is decorated with charming details such as snail shells adorning lids and handles. Created in 1888 by Artistic Director Arnold Krog.
Created in 1888, the captivating Blue Fluted Half Lace expresses a timeless beauty that remains in style today. The hand painted half lace encircles a hand painted pattern of floral elements twirling around the fluted porcelain in a romantic expression suitable for any collection of Royal Copenhagen.
The beautiful plates in sizes from 19 cm to 27 cm have a classic, wide rim adorned with cobalt blue details. As a special addition, a set of three coupe-shaped plates can be found exclusively in Royal Copenhagen’s stores and online store, adding a contemporary style to the classic pattern. Cups and mugs in sizes from 17 cl to 33 cl can be used for tea and coffee and each size has its own style with different handles in romantic, swirling shapes and high handles. The classic teapot and a beautiful coffee pot complete an inviting afternoon or dinner table. Add a charming cream jug and a small sugar bowl as finishing touches.
The functional serving pieces are useful in any setting and for every dish. The bowls come in sizes from 35 cl to 310 cl, ideal to be used as cereal bowls, for side dishes and fruit. The bowls are adorned with a hand painted pattern in different expressions complementing the various shapes and sizes, which together and each on their own make for a captivating table setting filled with delicate lace and classic florals. While Blue Fluted Half Lace makes a beautiful table setting on its own, the collection is combinable with any personal collection of Royal Copenhagen.
