MULTICOLOURED ELEMENTS

Multicoloured Elements is edgy in more ways than one. A rainbow of colours emerges as textures, transform across the crystal white landscape of a plate, sprawls around the edged rim of a bowl, and playfully appears and hides as you turn a cup in your hand. Created in 2008 by Louise Campbell for Royal Copenhagen.

MULTICOLOURED ELEMENTS

In a rainbow of colours, Multicoloured Elements stands out amongst Royal Copenhagen’s classic universe of blue and white. Every piece is hand painted in a unique colour, changing the expression of the floral pattern and playfully twirling its flower stems around the porcelain. Each plate is adorned by its own unique pattern made to fit the size, while all plates are designed with an informal combination of tactile flutes, fish scale decorations and the rimmed edge from the extravagant collection of Flora Danica. The small 22 cm plate is ideal to be used as a lunch plate and a dessert plate, while the large 25 cm and 28 cm plates are useful for lunch and dinner or even to be used as serving dishes.

Amongst other serving pieces are the 23 cm and 38 cm dishes. The beautiful colours of the dishes bring feelings of summer into any table setting that will complement the many colours of nature in a table setting outside on the balcony or terrace. On a chilly spring morning or autumn day, the 35 cl thermal mug is perfect in combination with a blanket on the garden bench or in the shimmering light of candles at a morning table. Multicoloured Elements also includes cups with accompanying saucers and an elegant high handle cup. In a combination of different cups, the colourful patterns create a surprising table setting with a favourite cup for any of your guests.

A coffee table or tea moment is complete with the serving boards filled with small cakes, sandwiches or delicious chocolate. The large 70 cl jug is ideal to be used as a milk jug but it can also function as a jug for water or any other cool beverage. The colourful style of Multicoloured Elements is beautiful on its own in a table setting vibrant as the rainbow or in a combination with any other collection from Royal Copenhagen.
