The origins of Emerald Green date back to Artistic Director, Arnold Krog, who created the Full Lace shape for the blue underglaze decoration in the 1800s. Later, in the 1890s, the shape was decorated with vibrant overglaze colours in Royal Copenhagen’s signature, hand-painted lines. One of these colours was Emerald Green. Now, Emerald Green is re-introduced into Royal Copenhagen’s assortment as a true gem.
A gift from Royal Copenhagen tells a story even before it is opened, and the gift wrapping itself truly makes it a gift like no other. Fit for that someone special.
