Breakage Warranty Terms & Conditions

Our breakage warranty applies to Royal Copenhagen tableware products that have been registered on royalcopenhagen.com within 6 months of purchase, and which have been bought from a Royal Copenhagen certified retailer, our own online shop at royalcopenhagen.com or one of our own stores. The Flora Danica collection, The Purpur collection and home interior products are not covered by the breakage warranty. The breakage warranty period starts from the date of purchase. Our breakage warranty can only be used once per registered product, and only for the specific number of products purchased - e.g., if 12 plates were purchased, only 12 claims for replacement plates can be made.

Replacement products which have been received after claiming a warranty are not covered by the breakage warranty and thus they do not need to be registered on royalcopenhagen.com. Replacement products which have been received after claiming a warranty are not covered by the breakage warranty and thus they do not need to be registered on royalcopenhagen.com. If a registered product is no longer in production, Royal Copenhagen may replace the product with a product that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be substantially similar to the registered product.

Customers who reside in a country where the breakage warranty service is available, may register products bought at any certified Royal Copenhagen retailer in the world. However, if the specific product is not available in the customer’s country of residence at the time of replacement, Royal Copenhagen may replace the product with a product that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be substantially similar to the registered product.

This breakage warranty applies to purchases made for personal or household use and can only be used by individuals acting in their personal capacity. Business and/or commercial purchases and uses are not covered by our breakage warranty, and businesses or commercial entities are ineligible to use the warranty. Our breakage warranty only provides a replacement for goods and does not offer a refund for money. We will determine delivery times upon validating a warranty claim.

Royal Copenhagen can, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, terminate or revise the breakage warranty at any time. Termination or revision of our breakage warranty will only affect purchases made after the effective termination or revision date. All purchases made and registered as required before the effective termination or revision date will be covered for the full breakage warranty period from the date of purchase.

This breakage warranty is provided by the manufacturer and is additional to, and has no effect on, warranties provided by the reseller, nor does it restrict or replace any legal warranties that a consumer may be entitled to pursuant to applicable law.

The Royal Copenhagen digital Breakage Warranty can be used by residents of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
