The 2007 Bing & Grøndahl Collectible Collection consists of following 6 series:
The Christmas Plate series by Jørgen Nielsen
The Christmas Plate from Bing & Grøndahl is the world’s oldest series of collectibles. The motif for 2007 is called “Christmas in the Countryside” and is No. 113 in the series. It shows the children feeding the birds in the farmyard.
The figurine ornament by Sven Vestergaard is a boy holding a bird in his hand. This year’s Christmas Plaquette has its own motif, “Dancing round the Christmas Tree in the Wood”.
The Mother’s Day Plate Series by Finn Clausen
Bing & Grøndahl launched the first Mother’s Day Plate in 1969 and this year’s motif is no. 39 in the series. The 2007 plate shows the Arctic wolf with its cubs, drawn by Finn Clausen. The Arctic wolf cub has been created by Pia Langelund.
The Children’s Day Plate Series by Sven Vestergaard
In the Children’s Day Plate series from Bing & Grøndahl the motif for 2007 is called “The Little Mother”. It is no. 23 in the series, which started in 1985. This year we see a little girl lovingly feeding her cat in a pram.
The Annual Figurine Series by Sven Vestergaard
A new series of annual figurines from Bing & Grøndahl started in 2005. The series is called “The Little Orchestra” and the 2007 figurine is of a girl, Marie, playing the tuba.
Victor and Victoria’s Family by Sheilah Beckett
We follow the loveable teddy bear’s life in the continued series “Victor & Victoria’s Family” for the fifth year. In 2007 Theo is proudly showing his parents and little sister that he has learned the letters of the alphabet.
The Annual Little Angels by Sven Vestergaard
The series of Annual angels is a series from Bing & Grøndahl in which we will introduce two new angels every year. The two angels for 2007 show one angel playing the mandolin and another holding two blue bells.
