Allan Therkelsen is one of the most productive sculptors at Royal Copenhagen. In recent years he has modelled several figurines - such as a puppy collection, various cats and recently new figurines in the popular Else series. Below are a couple of examples of his work.
The young ballerinas is the latest work of Allan Therkelsen for Royal Copenhagen. Sitting or standing, they prepare to practise their steps, dressed in light costumes and with a lively grace that has been translated into porcelain in the most distinguished manner.
