The Magnolia Classic porcelain service was designed by Flemming Eskildsen, with his design and decoration being inspired by many years of working with Georg Jensen Silversmiths. The Magnolia service's decoration is a flower bud, which was silversmith Georg Jensen's favourite motif from 1905 onwards. He first used it on a number of hollowware pieces and then for the silver cutlery entitled Blossom.
