Blue Fish
On 22th December 1938 Captain Goosen caught a specimen of this blue fish, the Coelacanth, off the coast of South Africa.
This extraordinary creature that is reputed to have existed since earth was created was thought to have been extinct for the last 70 million years.
In 1963 Artist Jeanne Grut recreated two versions of the mythical blue fish for Royal Copenhagen.
