Royal Copenhagen at Casa Palacio in Mexico City

In the presence of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark Margrethe II, Royal Copenhagen presents their products exclusively at Casa Palacio in Mexico City.

Royal Copenhagen is building upon its success in North America by expanding to the Mexican market. The company’s world famous hand painted porcelain products are now exclusively offered at Casa Palacio, Mexico’s finest luxury retail store, located in Mexico City.

In an unprecedented presentation that included the presence of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark Margrethe II, Casa Palacio exquisitely displayed the dinnerware and figurines of this prestigious Danish company founded in 1775. Royal Copenhagen has always been closely associated with the Danish Royal family, given that in its beginnings, the Queen Juliane Marie became its first investor, and it was kept under the management of the Royal House for almost 100 years.

In a closed-off area, five tables and other exemplary displays were arranged to exhibit the nine tableware collections that will be available for sale at Casa Palacio as of February 21. Worth mentioning is Royal Copenhagen’s No. 1 Service, known as Blue Fluted, which has been continuously produced since the start of the company over 230 years ago. The golden trim and magnificent flowers of the Flora Danica pattern also stood out since they dress-up any table with their own splendor. At the same time, the embroidered textures of the White Lace collections contrasted deliciously with the more modern Blue Mega.

The majestic atmosphere created over porcelain that reminded us of Scandinavian summers served to appropriately welcome the Danish sovereign. Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark Margrethe II visited the store accompanied by a distinguished committee that included His
Excellency the Vice Prime Minister of Economic and Business Affairs as well as other honorable dignitaries.

The Royal Copenhagen brand is expected to be incredibly successful in Mexico, given that each brushstroke leaves behind the shared love that the Danes and Mexicans have for nature, open spaces and the elegant and refined luxury of fine porcelain.

Royal Copenhagen is a Danish luxury table top company that was founded in 1775. Its products have been made ever since with deep respect for tradition and high standards of craftsman-ship. Today, Royal Copenhagen is a world-famous brand known for its exclusive, high quality porcelain products and immaculate design and craftsmanship.
