Experience the porcelain factory first-hand at the many different events we host throughout the year in the Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store in the heart of Copenhagen and in our Concept Store in Aarhus.

BECOME A PORCELAIN PAINTER FOR A DAY

Please note: These classes are taught in Danish.

Try your hand at the historical craft behind Royal Copenhagen's hand-painted porcelain at one of Royal Copenhagen's painting schools in our Flagship Store at Amagertorv in Copenhagen and at our Concept Store in Aarhus.

With guidance from one of our skilled blue painters, you'll have the brush in your hand and can choose to paint selected pieces of porcelain in Blue Mega Rifled or Blue Elements. Everyone in a class is taught to paint the same piece of porcelain, and in our activity calendar, you can get an overview of what you can paint in which classes. This is also where you can sign up. There is a limited number of spots in each class, so we ensure everyone can receive the best guidance. You can find the activity calendar here.

Practical information

Each painting school lasts about 1.5 hours, and we serve refreshments along the way. Children are welcome in our painting schools, but we recommend children be 6 years or older to ensure the best experience for everyone.

The price for Royal Copenhagen's painting schools is 750 DKK. Any shipping of your porcelain will be added to the price.
Your porcelain will be ready for pickup in the store after 4-6 weeks, and you will be notified by email when it is ready.

PRIVATE PAINTING CLASSES AT ROYAL COPENHAGEN

Please note: These classes can be taught in English

If you're looking for a truly special experience for team building, a bachelorette party, birthday, or similar, you can book a private Painting Class at Royal Copenhagen. Instruction can be given in both Danish and English, and your porcelain will be ready for pickup in the store after 4-6 weeks.

Practical information

Our private Painting Classes last for two hours, and we serve refreshments along the way. If you have special requests for catering, such as bite-sized sandwiches or sparkling wine, this can be arranged by agreement. 

The price for a private event starts at 950 DKK per participant, with a maximum of 15 participants per class. The minimum price for a private event with fewer than 8 participants is 7.600 DKK.
