We celebrate Royal Copenhagen's artistic heritage, our undying passion for blue-painted decorations and last but not least our historical craftsmanship.
The cards' floral motifs are painted by Danish artist Mette Hannemann, as a loving nod to Royal Copenhagen's connection to the flowers of Denmark and to the painters' unique brush strokes.
The cards are a natural addition to a special gift, but the blue-painted motifs also look beautiful in a frame. The cards are A5 in size.
The set with all four cards costs 150 DKK, and will be for sale exclusively in our own stores and on royalcopenhagen.com.
Mette Hannemann graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Art in 1993 and works as a visual artist. Her work has been exhibited in Denmark and abroad and she has collaborated with Royal Copenhagen on various art projects through the years; most noticably she took part in creating the special collection, Mega Rose, together with Karen Kjældgård-Larsen.
