Royal Service in Singapore
Halfway between the Hermès and Jimmy Choo shops in the Takashimaya Department Store in Singapore you will find the Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge & Restaurant. The lounge opened 14 years ago, but in 2007 new blood totally renovated both the interior and the menu, giving the Tea Lounge a complete face-lift.
Catch a glimpse of the smiling ladies at tea through the huge windows on the second level of Takashimaya Department Store in Singapore, and you’ll be swept away by the urge to step into Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge and Restaurant for a sip yourself. The airy, spacious room, with its delicate furnishings is the perfect place to dally over a divine afternoon meal or casual dinner.
The award-wining chef Norman Bin Abdullah has created a new Ala Carte Menu that introduces dishes such as Greenland Shrimp and Warm Baked Chocolate Explosion to the Singapore citizens and the royal porcelain. If patrons wish to buy the porcelain they are eating off, they just need to tell the serving staff and a RC bag containing the selected items will be waiting for them at the restaurant exit. That’s Royal service in Singapore.
