This 35 cl Bowl is decorated by hand with the distinct elements of the Blue Fluted Mega pattern. Unlike other pieces from the contemporary collection, the flutes are placed on the bowl's inside, while the smooth outer surface lends a simplistic style. The bowl is ideal to be used as a cereal bowl or as a serving bowl for compote and other garnishes. Blue Fluted Mega is comfortingly familiar yet surprisingly refreshing. Born from a bold reinterpretation of the iconic pattern of Blue Fluted Plain, Blue Fluted Mega captivates with graphic and magnified sections of the original mussel painted pattern. Since its creation in 2000, Blue Fluted Mega has grown to become a true, new classic in Danish design. The eye-catching collection is beautiful on its own or in combination with other Royal Copenhagen dinner service.

The Three Waves
Proposed as The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory trademark in 1775 by Queen dowager Juliane Marie, every piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain is instantly recognised by the three blue waves on its underside symbolising the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt - the three main waterways of Denmark.
The Signature
The delicate decoration of the hand painted porcelain is comparable to the painter own signature and like any other piece of art, Royal Copenhagen skilled blue painters leave their signatureon the underside of every piece of porcelain.
The largest collection in Royal Copenhagen, Blue Fluted Mega is made up of a wide range of beautiful and functional pieces. Every piece carries a classic shape and the hand painted, graphic pattern of the loveable collection. With its magnified pattern of flowers and sharp lines, Blue Fluted Mega is a bold canvas for a personal table setting.
