The remarkable shape of the HAV 130 cl Carafe unveils the chest of a swan, while asymmetries add a special character to the shape. The tactile decoration at the bottom of the carafe ensures a proper grip and is inspired by fish and their use of the scales on their back and their white abdomen as camouflage to protect themselves from raptors above and below the surface. The scale pattern is spray-painted by hand in fog-like hues that resemble the morning mist on the Danish ocean. HAV is a contemporary take on the history of Royal Copenhagen but also reaches towards the future with new aesthetics and a new take on classic tableware. The collection is made up of multifunctional pieces spray painted by hand in colour tones of oceanic mist at the Danish shores. The pieces are touched by beautiful fish scales, gently made by hand.
