We recommend that the textiles are washed at 40°C using a low-speed spin cycle to prevent wrinkling. Coloured products should be washed separately for the first 2-3 washes. Avoid using fabric softener, optical brighteners, and bleaching agents. For stains, do not soak - use stain remover before washing. Always follow the instructions on the stain remover. Stretch gently while wet and hang the product to dry for a smoother finish before ironing while damp.

To maintain the quality and appearance of your Royal Copenhagen textiles, we recommend the following ironing temperatures: Heritage and Waves can be ironed at up to 150°C. Always follow the care label to ensure lasting beauty and softness.

Waves and Heritage are jacquard woven which means the pattern is woven directly into the fabric. The result is a fabric with depth, complexity, and elegance.

Over time, all textiles may naturally fade, especially when exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve the rich colours, we recommend keeping them out of prolonged sunlight and washing them gently, following the care instructions provided. With the right care, the pieces will retain their beauty for years to come.
